Welcome to ⌜cor⌟

Coming soon to the heart of Downtown Erie, Colorado, ⌜cor⌟ is a working studio and small creative shop. Our name comes from cor, the Latin root for words like heart, center, and courage. It reflects the idea that creativity begins at the center of who we are. From handmade ceramics and laser-cut pieces to the workshops you'll find here, everything starts with that idea.

Inside, you'll find a thoughtfully curated small retail shop filled with handmade ceramics, original artwork, and goods made by local and independent artists. Everything is handmade with a focus on local artists within our Erie community.

Join a workshop, try a new skill, or become part of our monthly Craft Club. Our classes are designed to be welcoming, approachable, and a chance to enjoy making something with your own hands.

At the heart, ⌜cor⌟ is a working studio for Erie artist and maker Jillian Jensen. We hope you'll enjoy seeing works in progress, asking questions, and discovering something new each time you stop by.

Founded by artist and event planner Jillian Jensen, ⌜cor⌟ brings together more than 15 years of experience creating meaningful experiences through her businesses, Jillian Jensen Creative and the award-winning Jillian Jensen Events.

Plants are going in! Now that the weather is nice (and hopefully more consistent??), we will begin planting our beautiful native plants in the front of the property. We are doing this work ourselves, so sorry in advance for the potentially slow proce
Plants are going in! Now that the weather is nice (and hopefully more consistent??), we will begin planting our beautiful native plants in the front of the property. We are doing this work ourselves, so sorry in advance for the potentially slow process 😉 We’ve chosen a collection of native, low-water perennials that are an essential pollinator habitat. Plants include Beard-lip Penstemon, Giant Sacaton Grass, Prairie Sage, and Smooth Aster. They’ll be small to start but hopefully growing by the end of the summer (and even better next year). In addition to that... as of May 8th, we have officially received Site Plan approval from the Town of Erie for our future space at 365 Briggs Street in downtown Erie! This is a huge step for us and we are so thankful for the excitement and support we are receiving from the Town. This approval allows us to move forward into the next phase of the project, including construction, permitting, accessibility improvements, and exterior site work. #corarts #artstudio #comingsoon #erieco #downtownerie #eriecolorado
